A Time of Ease - Mindfulness with Mary Oliver Poetry
Virtual Retreat by Dee Hennessy
Join us for an afternoon of Mindfulness with Mary Oliver Poetry on Sunday, Sept 11th from 2.30 to 4.30 pm Irish Time.
This is a gentle time of ease - a beautiful pause where we will be in silence, do some mindfulness practice and listen to Mary Oliver's poetry as we connect directly and deeply with our lives.
This is a gentle afternoon where the silence and the poetry will ease us into our own peace and calm. This in turn will support us to connect with our own inner wisdom, clarity, inspiration and joy. After the session, I will send you a copy of the poems I read during our time together.
Maybe you are wondering:
Do I need to be experienced in mindfulness practise, or Mary Oliver poetry? Not at all. You will be able to fully participate even if you have never done mindfulness before, never heard of Mary Oliver and even if you do not usually enjoy poetry.
What exactly happens on this afternoon retreat? The retreat is all about spaciousness and relaxation. I will be guiding some meditations, we will be in silence together as I read some Mary Oliver poems. Towards the end of the session we will do a deep relaxation together.
Do I need to be on camera or to speak? No this is a zoom light space. You are very welcome to be with us in whatever way best suits you - camera on or off. It will mostly be a quiet space but there will be times for you to unmute and speak or put a question or comment in the chat if you would like.
