  • Why Does External Support or Supervision matter so much

With the fast pace of twenty first century living, many of us can feel overwhelmed and under pressure. Studies show that stress can negatively affect our decision-making skills, creativity, as well as our ability to work well with others. Quality supervision and support spaces are more essential now than ever. But all supervision is not equal, and not all supervision is quality. Here you will experience cross-professional wisdom supervision - nice and simple, in a safe and supportive space. I will help you to establish a quality reflective practice  where you will strengthen your boundaries, build resilience and  hone your professional skills.

  • What Is Cross Professional Wisdom  Supervision?

With twenty plus years of experience as a supervisor I have seen great changes in our understanding of, and approach to this discipline. Over the years my own approach has evolved to become rooted in the Wisdom Model of Cross Professional Supervision, with its four pillars of Contemplation, Compassion, Creativity and Collaboration. Within this approach supervision is accepted as a profession 'in its own right' with a unique set of skills, tasks and competencies. The role of supervisor is a facilitator of learning, change and transformation to enhance client care, practioner wellbeing and professional development and organisational change.
